My name is Khadidiatou Diallo but I tend to go by Bunni online and among friends. Moonbunni_ is a reference to the bunny on the moon myth and maybe my love for Sailor Moon.

I was born and pretty much raised here in Asheville, I'm a disabled artist who likes to create bright and colorful work. My disability doesn't define me, but it's something I always mention because its something that has influenced my art direction. I took up drawing digitally mostly out of cost, I got my first drawing tablet as a teenager, it was nothing fancy, about $30 for a board that you plug into the computer and then start drawing! But it opened up a whole new world for me! I've had hand and general joint issues, having my first hand surgery to remove a lump in high school, and would have the other hand done, and then a third surgery in my dominant hand when I got to college. I've always found digital art an escape/more accommodating to my disability to a degree. I do enjoy physical painting, watercolor, acrylics and handmade crafts like crochet, jewelry making and origami but digital art is where I found comfort and accommodations for my needs.

Alongside my physical health I've struggled with mental health issues, which again tie back to my art; my mission if you can call it that, is to create pieces that are warm and fuzzy. I like to create warm and bright images that not only make myself happy but also, hopefully bring joy to others. I do a mix of personal characters and commissioned characters; drawing primarily character busts but also little made up creatures, I hope to do more scenes that tell a story and pay homage to my background.
