Sav’s dedication to music extends to his admiration for influential albums like Bob Paisley & The Southern Grass’ “Live in Holland” and Blue Highway’s “Still Climbing Mountains”. He finds joy in the communal act of playing music, whether on stage or in an intimate setting, and is particularly captivated by the acoustic music’s immediacy and intimacy.

Sav dreams of creating a concept album inspired by his family’s immigrant journey, showcasing the richness of America’s diverse cultural tapestry through acoustic music. His first solo record, “Back to Basics”, featured collaborations with renowned musicians and highlighted his skills as a performer and songwriter.

In addition to his musical talents and outdoor explorations, Sav is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the outdoor industry. Sav serves on the board of the Minority Outdoor Alliance, furthering his commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

As an avid hunter and angler, Sav’s recent adventures have taken him to diverse hunting camps in Oregon, Colorado, and New Mexico, where he forged lasting relationships and experienced the profound beauty of nature. His time spent in these camps, often with a wide range of participants, highlighted the importance of community, conservation, and shared experiences.
