Celebrate Seven Years!
Party with us! Dalaya Thai turns 7 years old this month so we’re throwing another Anniversary Block Party to help celebrate! Chef Gun will be hanging out in the Ice Cream Bus in our parking lot, serving up vegan ice creams and Thai street snacks they don’t normally offer on the menu!
Our Block Party also features art vendors, live music, & fundraiser raffle prizes for mutual aid. Don’t miss out!

Dalaya Ice Cream Truck will be serving special treats in the parking lot from 1-4pm. Dining hall will be closed for the party but the patio is open!
Caravan Art Bazaar will be set up next to the bus with their Lemon-Aid Stand featuring artwork from over 20 local BIPOC artists. Art sales help raise funds for mutual aid programs across the globe!
Smoky Mountain Mushrooms will also be vending so you can bring home some fresh culinary shroomies to play in the kitchen. Get inspired by Chef Gun’s Larb Hed, which uses a variety Smoky Mountain Mushrooms, fried to perfection and served with herbs.
Dalaya Thai has joined forces with Caravan Art Bazaar to help support their current raffle fundraiser. Tickets can be purchased in the CAB booth next to the Snack Bus.

Southside Community Farm
Southside Community Farm is a Black-led urban farm and food hub growing food sovereignty in Asheville’s historically segregated Southside neighborhood. Their mission is not only to feed people through free food programming, but to create food sovereignty through avenues of education, climate resilience, seed sovereignty, joy, and more, prioritizing the needs of Black people and other communities of color.
Caravan Art Bazaar’s ART 4 AID program uses art for good by donating a percent of sales from artwork by participating artists to various grassroots mutual aid programs near and far.
To date, CAB has helped raise over $17,000 in funds for Hurricane Helene disaster relief in North Carolina, rainforest conservation in Peru and Sumatra, community land stewardship near Cherokee, affordable housing in Swannanoa NC, community art experiences in Asheville, cultural preservation in Vietnam, and more!
